Introducing the first Lacoste sunglasses with floatable frames, featuring an innovative and wearable design that stands out from the crowd.
The frame is created using a new injection molding technique that allows the sunglasses to float. A perfect match between form and function, fusing the croc’s core values: functionality and timeless elegance.
Lacoste Floatable Sunglasses are available in four colors: blue, green, black and yellow.
During the 1920s, René Lacoste was a young tennis player. In 1923, a journalist gave him the nickname “The Alligator” in reference to a bet between the tennis player and his coach over a crocodile suitcase.
In 1927, artist Robert George created the crocodile logo, which is today synonymous with the name Lacoste. In 1933, Lacoste launched the brand and entered the world of fashion. Since then, the company has grown to include, among others, sneakers, a children’s line of clothes and eyewear.
The Lacoste eyewear collection is available from leading optometrists in Southern Africa.
