JOHANNESBURG –(TROPICS MEDIA GROUP / 26 December 2018)– The Award-winning and first bilingual (English and French) publication from the African continent TROPICS MAGAZINE is pleased to announce the Final Winners of the Tropics Changemakers® Awards for the year 2018 . This group of bold entrepreneurial Leaders and Luminaries was selected based on the Top 200 Tropics Changemakers Powerlist released by TROPICS MAGAZINE . The Winners were shortlisted by an independent judging panel made up of leading business people, leading CEOs, investors and other regional business leaders. Twelve of the Laureates were unveiled at a special Tropics Gala Dinner bringing the 2nd annual TROPICS BUSINESS SUMMIT to a fold at the Parktonian Protea Hotel by Marriott in Johannesburg.

The awards has become the culminating event of TROPICS MAGAZINE during the TROPICS BUSINESS SUMMIT™, Africa’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies. The 2019 Powerlist will be unveiled by TROPICS MAGAZINE prior to the 3rd annual Summit and the Final Winners will then be awarded at the next Tropics Gala Dinner™ and Awards Ceremony set to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa in October 2019.
