When Bree gets the chance to cure her son, bringing back a parcel from the future seems like a small price to pay. But the world-to-come is not how she imagined it. Now she must make a terrible choice. Save her son or save the human race.
Conceived by terminal cancer patient, Joshua Castle and brought to print, posthumously, by his mother, Penny, Cure is fast-paced and tense. You wont put it down until you’ve reached the very last page.
« I devoured Cure in one sitting. It is a short story that will keep you glued to the page until the very end.
The main character, a mother caring for her dying son is talked into taking a trip into the future to find the cure for cancer, which is easily available over the counter.
We travel with her, experiencing her doubts and fears as the story takes us on a roller coaster ride of twists and turns, her pride and self sacrifice to save her son lead us to an astonishing climax which caused me even to shed a tear!
The time travel aspect is totally believable and the horrors of the future will make you cringe as you turn the pages!
A definite 5 star read! » ~ Gilly Hardiman, Author
