Vénicia Guinot, serial entrepreneur, global brand strategist, and founder of Tropics Media Group, built this ecosystem as a living tribute to her father: a merchant banker, a voice on the Congolese National Radio who hosted Rythmes Tropicaux, and one of the continent’s most devoted collectors of rumba, salsa, charabia, and Kongo cultural heritage, from Angola to San Salvador.
His conviction, that culture is the first economy, became the founding thesis of TROPICS.
That intergenerational, multicultural inheritance is not a backdrop. It is the engine.
