
Paris-Johannesburg, 26 May 2025 — On Saturday, 24 May 2025, TROPICS MAGAZINE and Tropics Mēdia Group hosted the milestone 10th edition of the African DOers Showcase & Powerlist Unveiling, under the theme “United for Impact: Transforming Africa’s Future Through Collective Action.” The strictly livestreamed event brought together a stellar roster of leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and changemakers from across Africa and the diaspora, with simultaneous multi-streaming on Zoom, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
A Global Stage for Africa’s Changemakers
The day-long program, expertly moderated by Mr. Jean Moise Ndoh (CEO, Ubuntu Metanoia) and Ms. Pamela Vignikin (Regional Partner, Tropics Group of Companies & CEO, FENU Style), opened with remarks from Mrs. Vénicia Guinot, Executive Chairwoman & President of TROPICS GROUP and founder of African DOers. She reaffirmed the initiative’s mission: “For ten years, we have championed those who dare to dream and do, who break barriers and build legacies. This anniversary is a testament to the power of storytelling and community in driving Africa forward.”

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the African DOers Powerlist 2025, honoring 700 outstanding African and Afro-descendant leaders for their exceptional contributions across business, technology, culture, and social impact.

A Call for Unity and Action
The Showcase echoed a powerful message: Africa’s future will be shaped by those who unite, innovate, and act with purpose. The event also announced the launch of the African DOers Council to further foster collaboration and amplify the impact of Africa’s leading changemakers.
